Dakria writes dark short fiction steeped in myth, madness, and the quiet collapse of the human mind. Her stories draw loosely on Norse paganism and the fragmented beauty of neurodivergent perception, weaving together psychological horror and dreamlike fantasy. In her worlds, fate and free will blur, memory festers, and the divine wears the face of madness.
She is drawn to the figures who don’t belong. Through them, she reimagines old myths and forgotten gods, finding a strange kind of grace in decay and transformation.
Dakria is the founder and editor of WATG Press, an independent publisher that champions misfit voices and stories that explore the dark, the strange, and the transformative.
